How it works

There are different consultation options available, depending on your problem and situation.

For most issues, a home consultation is the best option.

HOME CONSULTATION

1) First contact: During the first contact, we briefly discuss the problem or unwanted behavior and schedule an appointment. This usually takes place via email or WhatsApp.

2) Questionnaire: I will ask you to complete a (digital) questionnaire and, if necessary, I may first ask you to visit the veterinarian (for example, in cases of house soiling, because medical causes must be ruled out first).

The questionnaire is long, but it is necessary to provide a thorough consultation and to explore the problem in depth.

3) Preparation: Based on your completed questionnaire, I carry out an analysis in preparation for a home visit.

4) Home visit: During the home visit, we will explore specific problem-related topics through in-depth questions, assess the living situation, and make additional observations if needed. If possible, I will give you a few tips you can implement immediately.

A home visit usually lasts about 1.5 hours, and around 2.5 hours for complex issues.

5) Diagnosis/Treatment Plan: After the home visit, you will receive a diagnosis along with a customized and practical behavior treatment plan.

6) Aftercare: After 2–4 weeks (depending on the issue and treatment plan), we will have a follow-up conversation by phone to discuss possible next steps.

For a period of 2 months, I will be available for aftercare via email or phone.
